Back for Business 8 Outcomes

The Back for Business 8 cycle ran from February to June 2025. Thirty-one early stage entrepreneurs completed the programme.

The following are the positive results that have been collated from the twenty-nine Back for Business 8 participants, who completed an end of cycle survey.

• At the start of the cycle, 59% were pre-revenue. Over the course of the programme a further ten began to trade. At the end of the cycle three quarters were trading (78%) with others planning to generate sales in the coming months.
• By the end of the cycle, the combined turnover of the participants that were trading had increased from €1.4m to €2.5million, there were 51 more employees and five participants started to export overseas.

The participants in Back for Business 8 were very positive in their end of cycle feedback. 100% would recommend the programme to others and 100% would like to stay in contact with the initiative.

In terms of their overall experience, 97% felt nearer to achieving their ambitions since participating in Back for Business. The majority of participants (79%) reported that they had made a decision for their business as a result of the sessions and 82% felt that the sessions translated into practical change in their business.
