Back for Business 7 Outcomes

The Back for Business 7 cycle ran from February to June 2024. Thirty-one early stage entrepreneurs completed the programme.

The following are the positive results that have been collated from the twenty-nine Back for Business 7 participants, who completed an end of cycle survey.

• At the start of the cycle, 52% were pre-revenue. Over the course of the programme a further seven began to trade. At the end of the cycle almost three quarters were trading (72%) with others planning to generate sales in the coming months.
• By the end of the cycle, the combined turnover of the participants that were trading had increased from €293,000 to €1.2million, there were 33 more employees and four participants started to export overseas.

The participants in Back for Business 7 were very positive in their end of cycle feedback. 100% would recommend the programme to others and 100% would like to stay in contact with the initiative.

In terms of their overall experience, 93% felt nearer to achieving their ambitions since participating in Back for Business. The majority of participants (90%) reported that they had made a decision for their business as a result of the sessions.
